Ranmanujan Knew Infinity

Ranmanujan Knew Infinity

Have you seen the movie ‘THE MAN WHO KNEW INFINITY’ ?  The name Ranmanujan is well known by many mathematicians, but not the common crowd. I had neither known of him or how to speak his name.

Ranmanujan realized something commonly thought of as unknowable. With effort he helped make it less distant.  With the research of Robert Kanigel which inspired the filmmaker, infinity is introduced to our hearts. Truly moved, I now know of Ranmanujan, and here is some of the trail of my research for the who, the what and the why . . .

  • Srinivasa Ranmanujan wiki
  • The Man Who Knew Infinity  movie review in Peter Woit’s blog, ‘Not Even Wrong‘ Prof. Woit notes that the filmmaker was inspired by
  • Robert Kanigel’s excellent 1991 biography of the same name The  film took 10yrs to make due to financial difficulties. One major, potential financier wanted a plot change to include a romance with an English nurse played by their starlet and was rejected.  Thank you Mr. Filmmaker.
  • Towards a Grand Unified Theory of Physics and Mathematics by Peter Woit 2015
    • In his conclusion . . . Such a theory by itself would not say anything about most of the rich phenomena that mathematicians study, but would just indicate the existence of a distinguished point in the space of all mathematical structures. The nature of this point might however shed light on some new connections between such structures.
      • And I would add . . . yes, indeed.

Are We Simulations?

Are We Simulations?

I am not a physicist. I am not a gamer.  It is simply enough that I AM profoundly stimulated by the points raised by this video on life and how they resonate with some of my own experiences.   ‘Are We Simulations’ is a good effort to explain something, that for many, is just plain explainable, out-of-mind, or cause for a LOL.

and/or for Keanu Reeves/Matrix fans

Max Planck Quote   All matter originates and exists only by virtue of a force… We must assume behind this force the existence of a conscious and intelligent Mind. This Mind is the matrix of all matter.

Max Planck was talking this way in the 1930’s and 40’s.  Hmmm. . . now how about comparing that vision of existence to one where power-centered minds prop up a lower-matrix version of existence over the centuries to keep us happy, ignorant and warring our way into media of every kind, reinforcing lower-matrix life everywhere as in the Truman Show with Jim Carrey . Incredulous?  Have you watched the 2016 US Presidential Debates?   Have you lost track of how many times the debt ceiling has been lifted? and there’s more. Continue reading “Are We Simulations?”

The Psalm of Life by Henry Wadsworth Longfellow and SpinHacking

The Spin. . .

Tell me not, in mournful numbers,

Life is but an empty dream!

For the soul is dead that slumbers,

And things are not what they seem.

The Hack. . .

Not enjoyment, and not sorrow,

  Is our destined end or way;

But to act, that each to-morrow

Find us farther than to-day.” Continue reading “About SpinHacking”

A Lie Can Travel Halfway Around the World While The Truth Is Putting On It’s Shoes ~ Mark Twain

Noah Tavlin drives home a point in his video, ‘How False News Travels‘  seen below. Please watch.

In the video notes . . .

In previous decades, most news with global reach came from several major newspapers and networks with the resources to gather information directly. The speed with which information spreads now, however, has created the ideal conditions for something called circular reporting. Noah Tavlin sheds light on this phenomenon.

Now it’s the SpinHacker’s turn| The video is well done, with supportive animation making the points Noah felt compelled to make.  However, the proofs made for circular reporting  could also be called circular reporting.  Noah said only looked at the pro-regulatory State  (CDC) “science”  of the Vaccines Don’t Cause Autism while demonizing contrary science as ‘false science’.  In a politically aligned scientists would be those who support with their sciencey sounding words and charts the agenda of those in the government.   In short, circular reporting.

Here is the part in his video which offers what Noah Calls ‘false vaccine science’.

But the video above address the same point as Noah and more convincingly.

Here is a site with 28 studies from around the world that support Dr. Wakefield’s research:

It seems that the  regulatory state always has truth, science and the greater good on their side not matter how much they damage public trust.

DOJ avoided the the controversy around giving guns to the Mexican cartels yet makes the 2nd Amendment believer into a pariah and even a potential terrorist.

SOS immune from abandoning an Ambassador and 4 marines to deaths in Benghazi and exposing national security to our potential enemies by using non-approved, personal servers.

EPA can take land without repercussions and in total diregard to the Constitution/Bill of Rights.

DOE can mandate an unconstitutional federal national education system by proxy (common core) without repercussion inspite of many challenges and state rejections.

IRS can isolate and intimidate those who are not aligned with the politically correct agenda of the ruling administration inspite of many missteps with email and more.

FDA can approve disease causing vaccines and refute all claims, research and decisions to the contrary as coming from mal discontents and trouble makers.

Final Note: while preparing this post and the research that went into it I noticed that the CDC was the major source for Vaccines do not cause autism.  I also noticed that liberal sources like the NYT, Huffington Post, Yale EDU, were predominant sources.
